I cannot download my vehicle with my OPTAC Download Tool, what do I do?
Please ensure that your company card is correctly inserted in either slot number 1 or 2 of your tachograph. If this is the case and that you have downloaded that vehicle in the past, then the VU cable connecting the OPTAC DLT may be faulty.
On the other hand, 1C tachograph fitted vehicles, delivered after May 2019, require the OPTAC DLT to be upgraded. If you haven’t upgraded the OPTAC DLT, you can purchase the upgrade from this link https://www.optac.info/uk/download-tools/optac-download-tool-1c-upgrade/
Once upgraded, you should be able to download old and new 1C tachographs.
