How does the Tachograph communicate with my Company Card when attempting a download?

In order for your Tachograph and Driver cards to download they need to speak to the Company Card. The Company Card should be connected to a PC that is always switched on. This PC should have the digiAuthenticate software installed.

Log on to your digiCentral account, select ‘My Account’ and then ‘Company Cards’. If there are no Company Cards listed click the ‘Register new company card’ button. Take note of the ‘Key’ for the Company Card record.

Install the digiAuthenticate software on your PC (download link) and specify your digiCentral hostname (dcsre.tachosys.eu), digiCentral Account ID and Company Card Key.
