OPTAC3 Web Release (March 2023)

New Features:

  • Infringement Severity Levels: We have implemented infringement Severity Levels based on the framework set out by the European Commission indicating the level of seriousness for the EU 561 and Working Time Directive infringements. An Icon has been added to the sections below that clearly indicates the severity level of an infringement:
    • Calendar view
    • Infringement Reports:
      • Infringement EU
      • Infringements Only
      • Driver’s Letter
      • Compliance Report
    • Overspeed event data in the Compliance Table: an extra column has been added in the Compliance Table showing Overspeed Event infringements.
    • OPTAC3 Import Wizard in Polish: Can be installed via the OPTAC3 Administrator Account.

 

Fixes:

  • Minor fixes when exporting data via the advance data export option.

OPTAC3 Web Release (December 2022)

New Reports:

  • Compliance Table: this report will show the number of infringements and/or supplementary infringements that a driver has committed over a specified period of time. The user will have the ability to pick the infringement types to be included in this table report.
  • Driver Missing Activities: as a transport manager you need to identify all those unknown periods where no activities have been entered on a driver’s card. This report will show start, end time and duration of those missing periods.
  • Night Working Report: this report will be able to identify the driver’s total work during the day and during the night separately.

New Features:

  • Vehicle Driven Report: you will now be able to quickly identify vehicles which have been made inactive, as they are highlighted in red text.
  • New API endpoints added into OPTAC3.

OPTAC3 Web Release (November 2022)

New Features:

  • OPTAC3 in Polish: OPTAC3 is now available in the Polish language and it is fully supported.
  • New Driver Specific Conditions Report: you can easily identify your driver’s Specific Conditions (Ferry/Train and OOS).
  • API Documentation: We have updated our Swagger documentation for the OPTAC3 APIs. More information is available on request.
  • German WTD supplementary infringements:three infringements have been added to OPTAC3 to comply with the German Working Time Act (ArbZG).  These infringements will be available in these sections:
    • Calendar View
    • Infringement Reports
  • Driver Day/Night Status: you can assign Day and Night through the ‘Driver Details’ menu in OPTAC3.

Fixes:

  • Minor fixes when editing digital data in the Calendar View.
  • The option to export to CSV format for the Card Insertions and Withdrawals report has been improved

OPTAC3 Web Release (June 2022)

New Features:

  • Daylight Savings Time Improvements: We have updated the software to improve the handling of the clock change during Daylight Saving Time at the end of March and October. 
  • Security Update: We have further improved the security settings relating to 2FA users.
  • API Documentation: We have updated our Swagger documentation for the OPTAC3 APIs. More information is available on request.
  • Additional API Endpoints: We have added multiple new API endpoints to be consumed by our API customers. The new endpoints include new reports and depot functionality.
  • Missing Data Viewer Report Update: We have improved the Missing Data Viewer reports to use more vibrant colours to assist with users that have a colour vision deficiency.

Fixes:

  • Improved editing digital data under certain conditions
  • Updated the Invalid Digital Signature report to filter expired driver cards.
  • Minor fix to the Unknown Activity report for vehicle identifier

OPTAC3 Web Release (May 2021)

New Feature:

  • Digital File Export: We have added first and last activity columns to the digital data export screens for both driver and vehicles. This will help with identifying which file(s) you need to export when supplying to the authorities.

  • Improved advanced digital file export and file naming
  • Updated Web Chat links within the software
  • Improved Start and End Country detection for 1C tachographs
  • Minor fixes to the Dashboard status and widgets

OPTAC3 Web Release (March 2021)

New Features:

  • Download Reminder Reports Update: We have added a sub total next to each status (red, amber, green) so you can easily identify the number of driver or vehicles within each status category.
  • Compliance report and T&A – We have updated the Compliance report so that any clock event times added from the Time and Attendance (T&A) API are shown on the report.

Fixes:

  • Improved black candy striping effect on Calendar Viewer
  • Minor fixes on the Time and Attendance report

 

OPTAC3 Web Release (December 2020)

New Features:

  • Security Update: We have further improved the security settings relating to 2FA users.
  • Calendar Viewer Display Update: We have improved the day viewer within the Calendar Viewer so that you can visually identify tachograph manual entry activities. These are shown with black candy-striped lines through the activity.

OPTAC3 Web Release (October 2020)

New Feature:

  • Volvo OPTAC3 Connect Update:The automatic import mechanism from Volvo’s previous remote download solution, Dynafleet, has changed to Volvo Connect. OPTAC3 has been updated to allow the automatic import of these downloads from Volvo Connect.

OPTAC3 Web Release (September 2020)

New Features:

  • Mobility Package: We have updated OPTAC3 in accordance with the latest legislative changes. This includes changes to the Ferry Interruptions and Weekly Rest requirements.
  • Calendar Viewer Update: We have updated the Calendar Viewer so that you can select when a driver is Away or Abroad for their weekly rest. This flag can be selected when clicking near the top right hand corner of a day (near the Non-drive day triangle). This will allow the driver to derogate from their standard weekly rest requirements in accordance with the newly released Mobility Package.
  • EU Infringement Table Report: We have added an additional column to this report so that you can see the number of infringements caused if drivers fail to take sufficient weekly rest within a 4 week period. This is in accordance with the newly released Mobility Package.

Fixes:

  • Fixed display issue with manual entries recorded at UTC Midnight.
  • Improved T&A supplementary infringement checking
  • Minor other bug fixes.

OPTAC3 Web Release (August 2020)

New Features:

  • FleetBoard OPTAC3 Connect Update: The automatic import mechanism from FleetBoard to OPTAC3 was updated by Daimler. OPTAC3 has been updated to continue the automatic import of these downloads.

OPTAC3 Web Release (June 2020)

New Features:

  • Calendar Viewer Update: We have updated the Calendar Viewer so that you view any Clock event data within the Day Viewer. This is only available if the Time and Attendance (T&A) API feature has been enabled.
  • MAN Rio API: With the new API for OPTAC3 Web users of the MAN Rio platform can now upload their driver and vehicle tachograph data to OPTAC3 Web automatically.
  • OPTAC3 Plus Report Addition: Added the ‘Detailed Vehicle Distance Report’ to the OPTAC3 Plus service.
  • Widescreen report viewing: We have updated the ‘Driver Shift’ and ‘Time and Attendance’ reports so they will utilise the extra resolution on offer from larger monitors. The benefit to these grid export reports is that there is less requirement to horizontally scroll whilst reading these reports.

Fixes:

  • Fixed vehicle registration issue with corrupt calibration records.
  • Improved T&A supplementary infringement checking.
  • Minor other bug fixes.

OPTAC3 Web Release (May 2020)

New Features:

  • Time and Attendance API: We have added a new data entry API for Time and Attendance (T & A). This will allow 3rd party T&A systems to import Clocking data to OPTAC3. This utilises the REST API that is available in OPTAC3.
  • Time and Attendance Report: We have added a report to check the clock in/clock out times against the driver’s start/end time.

Fixes:

  • Updated issue found with Analogue Chart end odometer not showing correctly on reports.
  • Improved 2FA account unlock process
  • Minor other bug fixes.

OPTAC3 Web Release (February 2020)

New Features:

  • Driver Shift Report Update: We have added new duty columns for totaling the driver’s activities for their shift.
  • Security Updates: We have further updated the security in OPTAC3. Password complexity has been improved to increase the security of the product.

Fixes:

  • Fixed SUM and Cell Format issues in Driver Shift Report.
  • Fixed depot filtering issue for screens with resolution 1024 x 768
  • Minor other bug fixes.

 

OPTAC3 Web Release (December 2019)

New Features:

  • Security Updates: We have further updated the security in OPTAC3. Multiple incorrect login attempts will now lock the admin account.
  • Driver and Vehicle List Filtering Retainment: We have updated the grids in the Digital Data Viewer (7 day viewer) and the Calendar View screen whereby the last filtering is remembered when clicking on the OPTAC3 Back button.
  • Ferry / Train Crossing Icon: A ferry/train icon is now shown on the Drivers Letter and Infringement EU report when the driver has selected that specific condition on a given day.

Fixes:

  • Improved Card Download Reminder when selecting the Last Import Date option.
  • Minor bug fixes.

OPTAC3 Web Release (October 2019)

New Features:

  • Tachograph Service Report Update: We updated the Tachograph Service Report to indicate when a calibration date is in the past. Any calibration dates with a date older than today will be displayed in red text. Calibration dates in the future will continue to be shown in the standard black text.
  • Driver CPC Expiry: We have added a new grid export report which gives you the ability to see when a driver’s CPC will expire. The expiry date is manually set and adjusted in the Driver Profile page.
  • Driving License Expiry: A new Grid Export report has been added to display the expiry date of a driver’s licence. The expiry date is manually set and adjusted in the Driver Profile page.
  • Driver Summary Report: We have added a new grid export report which summarises the vehicle/day type that a driver has used/performed. If there is no available data for a calendar day then “No Data” will be shown in red text.
  • Driver Shift Report Update: We updated the driver shift report to highlight when a driver’s shift is longer than 15hours. Any shift with a duration over 15 hours will be shown in red text.

Fixes:

  • Altered password policy to reject semi-colons.
  • Improved Unknown Driver API handling.
  • Minor bug fixes to improve performance.

  • Security Enhancements – we have increased the password security as part of our continual improvement process.

OPTAC3 Web Release (January 2019)

New Features:

  • 1C Tachograph Handling: With the implementation of 1C tachographs (also referred to as Smart Tachographs or Generation 2 tachographs) we have updated OPTAC3 to handle the data from these tachographs.
  • Drivers Recorded Report Update: We updated the Drivers Recorded report to indicate when an inactive driver in OPTAC3 has driven your vehicle. The drivers’ names will be displayed in red text when they are inactive in OPTAC3. Active drivers will be shown in the standard black text.

Fixes:

  • Improved the user deletion process for admins.
  • Updated Earned Recognition report generation.

OPTAC3 Web Release (October 2018)

New Features:

  • WTD Weekly Averages Report Update: A new format has been implemented for this report. This includes displaying as many drivers on 1 page as possible, colour coding weeks when more than 60hours of work have been recorded and adding a date for each WTD week.

Fixes:

  • Updated Earned Recognition report generation.
  • Fixed minor issues with missing digit on Card Insertions and Withdrawals report.

OPTAC3 Web Release (April 2018)

New Features:

  • Earned Recognition Updates: Various updates are being implemented to ensure we are still compliant with the DVSA’s Earned Recognition Scheme. The DVSA are expected to provide details about the move from the pilot phase to the fully launched scheme. Please refer to the DVSA’s website for more information.
  • New Shift Report (Grid Export): We have added a new driver report that uses the ‘Grid Export’ format. This report will detail the driver’s shift with start and end times, along with vehicle(s) used, spread over and longest break/rest period. This is particularly useful when trying to calculate driver’s wages or working time from their tachograph records.

Fixes:

  • Improved Missing Data Viewer handling.
  • Fixed minor issue with API Key creation.
  • Improved Download Interval Supplementary Infringement text.
  • Fixed minor issues with grid filtering and sorting.

OPTAC3 Web Release (February 2018)

New Features:

  • New Missing Data Viewer Reports (Grid Export): We have added the following two reports into OPTAC3:
    • Missing Driver Data Viewer
    • Missing Vehicle Data Viewer

These graphical reports indicate if there is missing digital data for your drivers or vehicles when comparing the activity data available from driver and vehicle downloads.

  • Widescreen Viewing: We have begun the process for making OPTAC3 utilise the extra resolution on offer from larger monitors. The Day View within the Calendar View and the new Missing Data Viewer reports will take advantage of this meaning there is less requirement to horizontally scroll these pages.
  • Report Grid Filters: We have added a new filter on the top of the driver and vehicle grids within reports. This filter will hide drivers/vehicles that have no data within a set time limit. For example, only show drivers in the grid who have digital data in the last 6months.

Fixes:

  • Improved 12 day rule text.
  • Improved Missing Card Download handling on reports.

 

 

OPTAC3 Web Release (September 2017)

New Features:

  • New Summarised Odometer Report (Grid Export): The ‘All Odometers’ report now has a summarised option. This will produce a Grid Export report with the first and last available odometers from the specified date range.
  • Earned Recognition: We have added the framework for the Hours Law segment of the DVSA’s Earned Recognition scheme. Please contact our Customer Support Team if you want OPTAC3 to send the required information to the DVSA as part of the scheme.
  • Additional Supplementary Infringement: We have added another Supplementary Infringement to the Calendar View and Compliance Report. The new Supplementary Infringement is called “Daily Walkaround Check”. This indicates when a driver has not recorded a period of work prior to driving at the beginning of their shift.*
  • Updates to WTD Weekly Averages Graphical Report: We have updated the WTD Weekly Averages Graphical Report to improve the information displayed. This includes indicating the date for each week in the reference period and making the table more readable by shading alternate columns.
  • Additional Depot Selections in Dashboard: We have added depot filtering to all of the Dashboard widgets. For example, this will help quickly identify which depot(s) need to renew specific driver cards or vehicles that need recalibrating.
  • Events and Faults Report Improvements: We have added an extra option to sort the report by date or event/fault type.
  • Improved Infringement Prefix: Infringement text will now display whether it is a Drivers’ Hours Law or Working Time Directive infringements in both the Calendar View and Infringement reports.
  • Improvements to Driver Details and Vehicle Details pages: These screens have been updated to include the ability to change the depot assigned to the driver or vehicle. In addition, a new “Back to List” button has also been added. This allows you to return to the driver and vehicle list in its previously filtered state.

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue with the Overspeed Report allowing 0 minute tolerance.
  • Improved Daily Rest Calculations with regard to guidance note 7.
  • Fixed minor text issues.

OPTAC3 Web Release (June 2017)

New Features:

  • Single View of Driver and Vehicle Data: Within the Day View of the Calendar View you can now compare the driver and vehicle activities from a single screen. Each vehicle that the driver has used during a day can be shown. All vehicle activities are shown however, we indicate which activities relate to the specific driver’s card. A corresponding vehicle download is required to perform the comparison.
  • Add Favourite Reports to My Reports: We have updated the report selection interface so you can now select your favourite reports. These are visible in the “My Reports” section of the software.
  • New Grid Export Reports: We have introduced a new report type called “Grid Export”. This is a new style report that effectively displays all report details in a grid. This allows the user to perform various sorting, grouping and re-ordering before exporting the details to Excel.
  • Control Activity Report (Grid Export): A new Grid Export report has been added which displays the details of any Control Cards that have been inserted in your vehicle(s). This will include details of any actions carried out on the tachograph by the authority. For instance, Vehicle downloaded.
  • File Import Log Report (Grid Export): This new Grid Export report supplies a list of recently imported downloads into OPTAC3. This will include such information as the import date, user that imported the file and first/last activity date.
  • Driver Card Expiry Report (Grid Export): A new Grid Export report has been added to display the expiry date of the digital driver’s card.
  • Additional Odometer Report (Grid Export): A new Grid Export report has been added to view all available odometer details from all available sources of data.
  • File Export Log: When exporting digital data from the Advanced Data Export, you will be supplied with a CSV or Export log file indicating which data has been exported.
  • Driver/Vehicle Identifiers on Viewers & Reports: We added the driver/vehicle identifiers to all the reports and data viewers in OPTAC3. This can help when you have multiple drivers with the same/similar names. Driver identifiers can be altered via the ‘Driver Details’ page.
  • Improved Date Controls: We have updated the date controls on reports to allow easier date inputs. For instance, you can input dates using both DDMMYY and DDMMYYYY date formats.
  • Additional Supplementary Infringements: We have added another Supplementary Infringement to the Calendar View. The new Supplementary Infringement is called “Unknown Activity”. This indicates when a driver has no activity during their shift.
  • New Driver & Vehicle Lists (Analogue Vehicle Management Screen): We have updated the vehicle selection list for the Analogue Vehicle Management screen. You have many different filter options and can easily group vehicles together.
  • Multiple File Import (Zipped Files): We have improved the versatility of the file import via the browser. Zipped files containing the driver/vehicle downloads can now be selected for import. Up to two zipped files can be selected for import at the one time.

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue with non-infringing drivers being shown due to disabled Supplementary Infringements.
  • Fixed minor text issues.

 

OPTAC3 Web Release (March 2017)

New Features:

  • Supplementary Infringements: We have added additional infringement information to the Calendar View. A brown coloured triangle will show on any day when these supplementary infringements occur. These infringements include Download Interval (more than 28 days between card downloads) and specific card events such as Overspeeding and Unauthorised changes of motion sensor.
  • Notes and Driver Errors in Calendar View: Within the Day View of the Calendar View you can now add driver errors and notes for drivers. Typically these notes would be based on information written on a driver’s printout. These notes and driver errors will appear on the infringement reports for the specific driver.
  • Data Deletion (>37months): We have added an additional option to delete data older than 3 years. This is in addition to the greater than 13, 25 and 60 month deletion options. Data deletions can be scheduled by your OPTAC3 “admin” user.
  • Driver Identifiers on Reports: We have been adding the driver identifiers to the Infringement based reports. This can help when you have multiple drivers with the same/similar names. Driver identifiers can be altered via the “Driver Details” page.
  • Last Activity Date Links: In the Calendar View, we have added the date of the last activity in the top right hand corner of the Calendar View page. When you click on this date, it will automatically display that month and highlight the specific day.
  • Depot Selection in Dashboard: We have added depot filtering to the following Dashboard widgets: Card Download & VU Download. This will help quickly identify which depot(s) need to perform downloads.
  • New Driver & Vehicle Lists (View Digital Data screens): We have updated the driver and vehicle selection list for the View Digital Data screens for both driver and vehicle. You have many different filter options and can easily group drivers/vehicles together.
  • Compliance Report: We have added a new report which gives you the ability to show the standard infringements (EU 561 & WTD) whilst also displaying the Supplementary Infringement information.
  • Remember selected Drivers/Vehicles (Reports): When producing a report in OPTAC3, the user’s driver or vehicle selection will be remembered for the next report ran. This will help speed up creating many reports for the same drivers/vehicles. Once a user logs out or clicks on the clear selection option then the saved selection will be reset.

Fixes:

  • Improvements on the Recipient ID screen for Dynafleet/Volvo customers using OPTAC3 Connect.
  • Fixed issues whereby notes weren’t being saved on the 7 day viewer pages.

OPTAC3 Web Release (December 2016)

New Features:

  • Dashboard: We have added a dashboard which is visible when you login. This provides a quick reference for card/VU download reminders, infringement trends and card expiry dates for your fleet.
  • Advanced File Export: We have improved our file export options so you can now export by activity date, import date and download date.
  • Missing Mileage: We have updated the Unknown Driver report to display the potential distance travelled during unknown driving periods.
  • Overspeed Event Ordering: We have added additional sort ordering to the Overspeed Events report.

Fixes:

  • Minor bug fixes which include fixes to file import issues and start/end locations.

OPTAC3 Web Release (October 2016)

New Features: 

  • Multiple File Import (via browser): We have added the ability to import up to 50 digital files at one time via the browser. This provides a good alternative to using the OPTAC3 Import Wizard application.
  • Driver Profile: We have created a new area to view driver information. This allows you to set an identifier for drivers whilst also viewing useful information such as driver card expiry date, licence number and latest infringements.
  • Vehicle Profile: We have created a new area to view vehicle information. This allows you to set an identifier for vehicles whilst also viewing useful information such as last download and latest activities.
  • More updates to the New Driver & Vehicle Lists: We have updated more of the driver and vehicle selection lists in OPTAC3. We have added these new lists to the Calendar View and Non Drive Days screens.
  • Multiple Non Duty Day Input: We have updated the Non Drive Days screen to allow you to select drivers to a mass amount of non-drive days. This is particularly useful for adding companywide holidays such as Christmas day.
  • Multiple Non Duty Day Removal: We have updated the Non Drive Days screen to allow you to easily remove non-drive days for multiple drivers. This ensures you can correctly manage your data in the most efficient manner.
  • Card Download Reminder Ordering Options: We added the option to order the report by driver name, download date, import date or last activity date.
  • VU Download Reminder Ordering Options: We added the option to order the report by vehicle or download date.
  • Last Activity Date Addition: The last activity date added to the infringement reports. This allows you to quickly see how up to date the driver’s data is when analysing their infringements.

Fixes:

  • Minor bug fixes which include fixes to date selections in non drive days and improvements to Drive OOS detection.

OPTAC3 Web Release (August 2016)

New Features:

  • New Tooltips: We have added new help to the website, which will show useful information as you hover your mouse over various parts of the website. We have also added notification and error messaging to the bottom right hand corner of the site. Each logged in user can toggle this option on or off by sliding the “Help” setting to on/off in the website footer.
  • Additional Hours Law Setting (561/2006): The Hours Law settings (located via the ‘admin’ login) has been updated to include a new setting. This allows the user to set whether any periods of Drive Out of Scope (Drive OOS) will be counted as Work. 
  • New Driver & Vehicle Lists (Report Screens): We have greatly improved the driver and vehicle selection list for all driver and vehicle reports. You now have a large selection of filter options and can easily group drivers/vehicles together. 
  • Multiple Non-Duty Day Input: We have updated the Calendar View screen to allow you to select multiple days within the month by using the Control or Shift key on the keyboard. You can then assign a non-duty day to all selected days.

  • Minor bug fixes which includes fixes to POA calculations in WTD Averages report.

OPTAC3 Web Release (May 2016)

New Features:

  • New Odometer Reports
    1. Driver Summary Distance Report: Displays the total distance travelled by the driver over a given period.
    2. Driver Detailed Distance Report: Displays the total distance travelled each day by the driver.
    3. Vehicle Detailed Distance Report: Displays the total distance travelled by the vehicle using midnight odometer values as the reference point.
  • Updated Timelines & Infringement Service: Performance improvements for the Calendar View and Reports.
  • Volvo Dynafleet API: Dynafleet is Volvo Trucks online Transport Information System. With the new API for OPTAC3 Web users of the Dynafleet system can now upload their driver and vehicle tachograph data to OPTAC3 Web automatically. 

Fixes:

  • Minor bug fixes and amendments relating to Ferry interrupt, home screen and revision of code.

OPTAC3 Web Release (February 2016)

New Features:

  • Unknown Activity report: A new digital driver report which displays the periods of time when there are no activities between card extraction and insertion. The report looks for gaps of less than 3 hours however an adjustable tolerance has been added to configure the minimum amount of time reported on.
  • Additional Hours Law Setting (561/2006): The Hours Law settings (located via the ‘admin’ login) have been updated to include a new setting. This allows the user to set whether a sufficient break is required immediately after driving for exactly 4.5 hours.
  • Additional POA & Rest Settings (WTD): There is a switch in the WTD settings to allow POA and breaks of less than 15minutes to be treated as Work for the Working Time Directive. This option has been enabled for various countries where this is a requirement within the Working Time Directive.
  • Unknown Driver Report Improvements: We have added extra options to indicate when a vehicle is recording Driving Out of Scope (“OUT”) and being driven with no card inserted. There is an additional option to shown the previous and next drivers either side of these unknown driving periods.

Fixes:

  • Minor bug fixes which includes fixes to broken external links and button resizing.

OPTAC3 Web Release (December 2015)

New Features:

  • Company Card Locks report: A new digital vehicle report which lists the Company Card Locks for each vehicle. The report offers multiple viewing options including ‘Only show Vehicles that are locked in’ and ‘Only show Vehicles that are not locked in’.
  • Card Insertions and Withdrawals – Driver report: A new digital driver report which lists the drivers’ card insertions and withdrawals from the tachograph. This also displays the full card number and an option to detect anomalies if drivers are using more than one card. This requires corresponding vehicle download data.
  • More Flexible Night Time Working Limits (WTD): The “Night Time Working Limits” have been increased in the Working Time Directive settings (located via the ‘admin’ login). This has been updated to allow the limit to be set between 10 and 15hours.
  • Report Date Presets: We have added the ability to quickly fill in the date range for various reports. The ‘Presets’ function will allow you to select the current month, previous week, previous month and previous 3 months.
  • WTD Night Time Work Reset Improvements: The Working Time Directive settings (located via the ‘admin’ login) have been updated to include a new “Daily Rest Resets Night Time Working” setting.
  • POA & Rest Interpretation Options (WTD): There is a switch in the WTD settings to allow POA to be treated as Work for the Working Time Directive. This option has been enabled for various countries where this is a requirement within the Working Time Directive.

Fixes:

OPTAC3 Web Release (September 2015)

New Features:

  • Additional Browser Support*: OPTAC3 is now compatible with Google Chrome. We will also continue to support Internet Explorer 9 and above.
  • OPTAC3 Connect (Scania): We have added Scania as a data provider for the OPTAC3 Connect feature. This will allow you to automatically import your Scania remote downloads into OPTAC3.
  • Card Insertions and Withdrawals report: A new digital vehicle report which lists the cards being inserted and ejected from the tachograph. This also displays the full card number which allows you to identify if the driver is using more than one card.
  • Calendar View Interface Improvements: The Day View can now be opened by double-left clicking on a day within the Calendar View. We have also improved the speed of editing within the Day View.

Fixes:

  • Minor bug fixes which include improvements to the overlap messages when saving analogue charts.

*Google Chrome has not been fully optimised for the analogue chart processing and manual entry screens

OPTAC3 Web Release (June 2015)

New Features:

  • Driver Letter of Attestation: We have added the ability to produce letters which account for time when drivers have not used a tachograph to record their duties.
  • Improved List Views:We have increased the number of items you can view in a list to show up to 15 items per page, giving you less pages to scroll through.
  • Card Download Reminder Report Improvements: We have added an extra option to include a “Last Activity” column to this report so you can confirm that the download and activity match.

OPTAC3 Web Release (May 2015)

New Features:

  • Tachograph Service Report: A new report which provides calibration details for your digital vehicles. This will assist you with planning when your vehicles next need calibrated.
  • EU Infringement Table Report Improvements: We have added the option to hide drivers that have no infringements. This will allow you to manage by exception and focus on the drivers in your fleet that have infringements.
  • Infringements Only Report Improvements: We have also added a filter option to hide drivers that have no infringements. As well as focusing on the drivers that only have infringements this can help ensure that you only print off the pages that you really need.
  • Spreadover Column Added To Reports: The reports with ‘Trace Summary’ information (Driver Daily Details and Infringements EU) now display a “Spread” column. This helps to show the total duration of a drivers shift for each calendar day.
  • VU Download Reminder Report Improvements: We have added a “Last Activity” column to this report so you can confirm that the download and activity match.
  • Wrong Usage Of Driver’s Card: We have added new options on the Unknown Driver report. This report can now display any known Co-Driver information when the vehicle is being driven without a card in the Driver slot.

Fixes:

  • Minor bug fixes including resizing column widths on some reports: WTD Weekly Averages and Driver Daily Details.

OPTAC3 Web Release (April 2015)

New Features:

  • Data Deletion: The ability for the ‘admin’ user to delete data older than 13, 25 or 60 months.
  • Back/Next Buttons on Calendar View: To speed up how you navigate the software we have added back and next buttons for months and years on the Calendar View screen.
  • Daily Details Graphical Report Improvements: We have added information to this report to display double-manning drive. This is indicated by a new icon and the caption “Driving (2)”.
  • WTD Weekly Averages Report Improvements:  To give you a more accurate working time average we have added 2 new features. The first improvement is an option which uses the last known complete working week in the working time calculations. The second improvement is to display the “Average Weekly Working” at the end of each week.
  • Easier Report Selections:  Hyperlinks have been added to the report names to allow easier report creation.

Fixes:

  • Improved date validation on analogue chart, manual entry and non-drive day screens.
  • Language selections on the pre-login page.

OPTAC3 Web Release (February 2015)

New Features:

  • Language selection on all reports: The ability to produce your reports in up to 19 different languages.
  • Import Date now shown on Card Download Reminder report: OPTAC3 uses the download date determined by your download tool. If this has no built in clock function or has a corrupt clock then your Card Download Reminder might be inaccurate. We have added the ability to see the date that the file was imported into OPTAC3 Web to give you an understanding of whether the file is up to date.
  • Credit purchase: Now able to buy credits directly from the OPTAC3 Home page.
  • OPTAC3 Connect: This feature is available in the “Admin” section under the “Configuration” and “OPTAC3 Connect Settings”. This allows your remote downloads from Fleetboard and Volvo to automatically be imported into OPTAC3 Web.
  • Spanish regions: View Spanish regions in the 7 Day Viewer for drivers and vehicles.
