OPTAC3 System Requirements

OPTAC3 Tachograph Analysis Software has the following system requirements:

OPTAC3 Web System Requirements:

• Microsoft Windows XP Home, Pro (SP3) or VISTA (SP1) or Windows 7 (all versions 32-Bit)
• Internet Explorer 7/8
• Broadband Internet Connection
• 1GB RAM (3GB or above recommended)
• 100MB Free Hard Disk Space. 1GB for Import Wizard installation
• Intel or AMD Processor running at 1.6GHz. (Multi-core Processor running at 2.8GHz or above recommended)
• Display Resolution: 1024 x 768. (1280 x 1024 or higher recommended)
• Valid email address

Optional: 1 x Free Active USB Port if using Panasonic Analogue Chart Scanner
Optional: 1 x Free Active USB Port if using OPTAC Download Tool
Optional: 1 x Free Active USB Port if using Smart Card Reader

OPTAC3 PC/Server System Requirements

• Microsoft Windows XP Pro (SP3), VISTA Enterprise, Business or Ultimate (SP1) or Windows 7 Enterprise, Business or Ultimate. (All versions 32 bit)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 (SP2) or Microsoft Windows Server 2008. (All versions 32-Bit)
• Internet Explorer 7/8
• Intel or AMD Processor running at 2GHz. (Multi-core Processor running at 2.8GHz or above recommended.)
• 2GB RAM (3GB or above recommended.)
• 4GB Free Hard Disk Space. Can increase depending on size of database/number of uploads.
• 1 x Free Active USB Port for OPTAC3 USB Software Key
• NTFS File System
• CD-ROM Drive
• Display Resolution: 1024 x 768. (1280 x 1024 or higher recommended.)

Optional: 1 x Free Active USB Port if using Panasonic Analogue Chart Scanner
Optional: 1 x Free Active USB Port if using OPTAC Download Tool
Optional: 1 x Free Active USB Port if using Smart Card Reader

For databases that exceed 4GB, SQL Server 2005 Standard or Enterprise is required. SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services must also be installed. If you are a Windows XP Pro user you may need your Windows XP Installation Disk.

We are unable to support the following Operating Systems:

• Windows 2003 or 2008 Server for Small Business
• 64 bit Operating Systems

OPTAC3 cannot be installed on servers with the following roles:

• Domain controller of any type
• Microsoft Exchange
• SharePoint
• Terminal Services
