System Requirements

OPTAC Fleet Viewer software runs on IBM-compatible Personal Computers with Windows XP, Windows 7
or VISTA. OPTAC Fleet Viewer is a 32-bit program and will not work on earlier versions of Windows. The
minimum processor and RAM specification depends on your operating system.  See below for more information on system requirements:

  • Windows XP SP3 - 32 bit (x86) only: Intel based PC - 1.6GHz 512 MB RAM
  • Windows VISTA - 32 bit (x86) only: Intel based PC - 2GHz 1 GB RAM
  • Windows 7 - 32 bit (x86) only: Intel based PC - 2GHz 1 GB RAM
  • Display Resolution: 800 x 600 256 colours

Once installed and in use, OPTAC Fleet Viewer and your data will typically occupy 100 MB of hard-disk
space. This will rise depending on the amount of data that is saved into the system. To
install OPTAC Fleet Viewer, you will need a CD-ROM drive and to use the OPTAC Fleet Viewer application, you will
need two unused USB ports (one for the OPTAC Fleet Viewer tool and the other for the dongle). You can
use any Windows-compatible printer to produce reports.
